New Head of Sales to Drive Automation & Materials Handling Division

Chris Brown has over 20 years experience working in the automation and bespoke engineering equipment markets. He joins L.B. Foster Automation & Materials Handling at its headquarters in Nottingham. This follows his success developing medium to long term business growth strategies for technology company FLIR System's Automation Division.

Chris has a HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University. He comments: “I could not ask for a better existing commercial team to work with. I am looking forward to working with the management team in actioning L.B. Foster Automation’s long term strategic plan”.

Foster Automation & Materials Handling’s Nottingham ‘Centre of Excellence’ delivers increased capacity and exceptional manufacturing quality across its entire product portfolio - from overhead and floor conveyors to warehouse garment and handling solutions, as well as  innovative machinery and automated production systems for the automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and logistics markets.  

The company employs over 50 staff at its ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Nottingham.
